In Islam there are five basic duties which Muslims must perform. They are known as the five pillars of Islam (Arkanul Islam). The book begins with a discussion of the sacred nature of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, the boundaries of the Haram (Sanctuary) and its sanctity.
